Joint Stock Company ⌠Silur■ is the biggest manufacturer of steel ropes and wire for different branches of industry, stabilized reinforcing wire and stabilized reinforcing ropes, steel mesh, steel fiber and other metal products. The plant was founded in 1949 as Khartsyzsk steel wire rope plant. In 1994 it was reorganized into Joint Stock Company ⌠Silur■.

During years of development ⌠Silur■ was turned into the whole industrial town. The plant consists of main and auxiliary shops of steel wire and rope manufacture, shop of steel mesh and attendant infrastructure. Several thousand of high skilled specialists work here.

Nowadays JSC ⌠Silur■ is a plant of many profiles. Plant products are exported to more than 30 countries of the world on all continents. The enterprise keeps working on improving quality and reliability of produced items with the aim of consolidation of its position on foreign markets and expansion of a nomenclature of delivered products.
