Ropes for coal industry

Steel rope is the main haul and hoist part of mine lifting machines.

Steel ropes are widely used in coal mining:

1. Hoist ropes - used for lifting people and loads on vertical and horizontal rises
2. Balancing ropes - used for mass compensation of a bucket.
3. Conducting and balance ropes - used for operating and sinking rises
4. Braking ropes - for parachutes

Diameter of manufactured steel ropes for mining industry ranges from 25 to 72 mm. Maximum length is 2500 m. Maximum rope weight is 20 tons without package .
