Types of the produced ropes

Prodiced diameters

From 0.5 to 72 mm diameter ropes are produced. The interval of made diameters makes:

• for ropes in diameter less than 5,0 mm-0.1 mm;
• for ropes in diameter from 5.0 up to 20.0 mm-0.5 mm;
• for ropes in diameter more than 20.0 mm-1.0 mm.

On the customer's request manufacturing of ropes of any diameter in the specified range is possible.

Produced marking groups

Marking grope is the basic characteristic which influences a choice of a rope for the further exploitation. Ropes of 1370, 1670, 1770, 1960 N/mm2 marking groups are produced.

On the customer's request manufacturing of ropes of intermediate or others marking groups is possible.

Presence of the surface coating of the wire

Ropes are produced:

• of wire without a coating,
• of galvanized wire.

Zinc coating protects a rope from influence of an atmospheric precipitation and subsoil waters, raises corrosion resistance of a rope onstream. Durability of the galvanized is longer in 3 times, than of a rope without a zinc coating.

Depending on weight of a zinc coating ropes are made

• with thin zinc coating (group “C” for GOST standards),
• with normal zinc coating (for all standards),
• with thick zinc coating (for all standards).

Method of ropes stranding

Ropes are produced with preliminary deformation (not unlaying). It provides the following advantages:

• the free ends of a rope are not untwisted,
• the ends of torn wires in a rope are not ragged,
• the rope does not form loops,
• at a clipping the rope does not revolve on its axis.
• On the customer's request manufacturing of unlaying rope is possible.

Material of the core

Ropes are produced on the metal or organic core.

As the metal core a strand or a rope of 7х7 construction is used. The metal core is made of a wire.

As the organic core the core twisted of polypropylene filaments is used. On the customer's request the organic core can be produced of other materials.

The type and the material of the core are stipulated in the contract.

Rope lubrication

Ropes are produced with or without lubrication.

Lubrication serves for ropes protection against corrosion at transportation, storage and at initial stage of exploitation. As lubrication “Torsiol — 35”, “Elaskon — 20”, friction lubrication “Elaskon Star II”.

Depending on the order ropes are produced

• with laying of the lubrication on strands,
• with laying of the lubrication on strands and on rope,
• with laying of the lubrication only on rope.

Without lubrication mainly galvanized ropes are produced.

On the customer's request laying of the other lubrications is possible.The type of lubrication and the method of the lubrication laying are stipulated in the contract.
