Fabrication technique and equipment

JSC “Silur” has a big park of up-to-date processing equipment for ropes manufacturing. The wire of own production is used for fabricating of ropes. The equipment for wire and ropes manufacturing includes patenting aggregates, galvanizing aggregates, drawbenches, machines for stranding of strands and ropes. The processing equipment is regularly updated, equipped with supplementary work tools for improvement of quality of producing ropes.

5.5 to 9.0 mm diameter rolled wire of high quality with 0,60 — 0,85 % carbon content is used as raw material for steel wireand ropes manufacturing.

Test of ropes is made in the laboratory of JSC “Silur” equipped with up-to-date test equipment.

At all stages of technological process, beginning with the entrance control of raw material, production is exposed to the regular control.

Norms of the control — parameters, devices, periodicity, responsibility are specified in special instructions.
